A champion of the slow fashion movement, Megan Huntz is passionate about conscious, well-crafted design. Her entire collection is created and manufactured in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Working with all natural fibers, she uses her background in industrial design to explore fashion with a multi-disciplinary approach, always grounded in the philosophy that form follows function.
Megan began her career in the Italian fashion industry after studying at Domus Academy. Known for her enrichment of fabrics, like hand-dyeing and digital prints, she blurs the lines of fine art and fashion. She also creates limited edition runs with vintage dead-stock fabrics and large quantities of remnants, which play an important part in her point of view on sustainability: taking something that would otherwise be wasted and turning it into something beautiful, coveted, and perhaps most importantly, indisposable. Since returning from Italy to her Southern roots in 2010, Megan has focused on designing collections that are deeply connected to a contemporary yet timeless sense of style.
Focused on shape and volume, Nika Tang designs with an affinity for form. Inspired by architecture and fine art, she incorporates design ideas to create wearable luxury statements and hand drawn textiles into the collection. she works with local tailors and sewers in San Francisco and designs out of her studio in Oakland, California with an intimate team.

Designer, Marisa Howard, draws inspiration from modernist sculpture, mid-century objects and abstract art. Most designs begin as tiny, hand-carved wax sculptures, which are transformed into metal using lost wax casting. This is a process that is steeped in metalsmith history. We couple these traditional processes with years of trial and error, perfecting our craft, to bring the designs to life. As a team, we take extra care to make sure each piece is created with utmost care and attention to detail.

TEXTILEHAUS founder Anastasiya Yatsuk grew up in Russia where she was allowed to shop for new clothes twice a year (Winter and Summer). Before she was allowed to buy something new her mother required her to make a sample of what she wanted to buy. Anastasiya came to appreciate the time and skill that is required to make each garment and learned to choose new items that would complement her existing wardrobe.
Each TEXTILEHAUS garment embodies the same qualities that Anastasiya learned to value growing up, including timeless style and superior workmanship.
Our textiles are responsibly produced in Japan and selected for their exceptionally soft touch. Each item is designed and produced in our Cincinnati based studio by one person from start to finish.
The General Public is an independent clothing line focused on providing women with quirky-cool options. The line is sustainably produced with an emphasis on workwear that is exaggerated, yet effortless. We find ourselves with an instinctive pull towards irregularity and unexpected balance between opposing themes. In this space of synchronizing contrasts, perfection finds its awkwardness, harmony its spontaneity, and the individual, it’s community.
There’s always more than what meets the eye. We love working with creating surfaces that look like something it is not. We us a lot of traditional techniques of embroidery and interpret them in newer combinations of material and fabrics. We create clothes for women who recognize and respect the skill that has gone into creating each piece.
