Read on for more below:
Irrelevant relations is a series of new paintings by New York-based artist and illustrator, Cerise Zelenetz, exploring the importance of objects and people in relation to others. Through the use of watercolor, ink, and text, Zelenetz forges an ambiguous string of connections, aiming to provoke scrutiny of our own human links to things and each other. Opening April 1st and running through the month, the exhibition will also include merchandise designed exclusively for the show by Zelenetz in collaboration with In Support Of.
Cerise Zelenetz was born in Vermont, studied in Paris, and graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2014 with a BFA in fashion design. Although Zelenetz works predominantly in watercolor and ink, she enjoys exploring new materials, and has produced work in a wide range of mediums from collage to video and sculpture. Her work has previously been featured in group and solo shows throughout New York and Paris, as well as a number of print and online publications.
During the month of April you'll be able to purchase one-of-a-kind illustrations, prints, and additional swag.
