Alyson Eastman is a thoughtful leather brand with a focus on outerwear. The brand was founded in 2016 in New York City. Here at Alyson Eastman, we believe it is very important to be ethical in our practices and because we choose to wear leather, we should be mindful and responsible of where we get it. All of our leather is sourced from tanneries in Italy and Argentina with certification of using food source leather. Alyson chose leather as her material of choice because leather lasts a lifetime. Passed down from generations, or re-worked into something new, leather is beautiful and always unique. Another wonderful quality of leather is that should it be discarded eventually, it will bio-degrade and not sit in a landfill forever like its plastic faux leather counterparts.

Christine Alcalay grew up in New York City with a sewing needle in her hand after emigrating from Vietnam with her family at the age of 3. As a child she worked alongside her mother (a self-taught tailor, sample-maker, and pattern-maker) in gritty overcrowded manufacturing factories. At the tender age of 4, Alcalay was sewing, making and designing clothing. Alcalay’s first few garments were not for dolls but for herself complete with bound buttonholes and lined in silk.

As a young adult Alcalay attended Parson’s School of Design in NYC then spent a year abroad in Paris interning at Christian Lacroix. Returning to NYC, inspired, Alcalay continued her studies and won the renowned “Parsons’s Golden Thimble” award, the highest honor for design at Parsons from mentor, Michael Vollbract.
In 2002, Alcalay opened her boutique, KIWI in NYC featuring her eponymous collection of “Made to Measure” clothing. Then in 2011, Alcalay launched her namesake “ready to wear” collection. Alcalay designs pieces that have their own life and are eternally beautiful. She sells her collection globally and proudly makes everything in NYC.

Dallas Daws Designs is a line of modern basics for the considered wardrobe, incorporating shapes informed by architecture and nature, as well as timeless tailored silhouettes, emphasizing slow fashion by straying from current trends. Careful thought goes into every step of the process, from selecting quality fabric, developing refined designs, and constructing pieces that are made to last.
Each piece is crafted by hand in our Minneapolis studio on a made-to-order basis. We seek natural fibers and quality blends for our fabrics, as we believe natural fibers work harder and wear in beautifully over time, in addition to being more environmentally sustainable.

“INTENTIONALLY ___________.” was created in 2014 in Los Angeles, and can currently be shopped globally on the shelves and sites of top stockists, tastemakers, and prime market influencers. Created by shoe industry veteran Ty McBride, as his first solo branded project, IB sets out with clear intentions: “To create the pieces that help you fill “____________s” in your personal style mantra.” McBride has held positions with top companies in the footwear industry, and launching his own brand came to fruition after moving from NYC to Los Angeles in early 2014. Since it’s launch, the brand and concept has been ablaze.
Designed and manufactured in both Spain and China (we tossed in a few styles from Italy this year!), the team from “Intentionally _______.” seeks to create hyper wearable footwear, which fit into a myriad of personal style spectrums, while delivering value and commanding just enough attention. With nods to the minimal, and touches of visual irony, the brand has garnered a cult following after several short years in the market.
In Fall of 2016, team, “Intentionally __________.” moved into a new space in Chinatown, Los Angeles, creating a clandestine retail spot for the shoe obsessed that resembles a small cave-like domicile, where shoe and shopping dreams can come true. In addition to the fully launched women’s footwear collection, team IB has also offered up several men’s ranges, a super popular bag range, and for fall of 2016 will introduce its first apparel capsule.

A champion of the slow fashion movement, Megan Huntz is passionate about conscious, well-crafted design. Her entire collection is created and manufactured in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Working with all natural fibers, she uses her background in industrial design to explore fashion with a multi-disciplinary approach, always grounded in the philosophy that form follows function.
Megan began her career in the Italian fashion industry after studying at Domus Academy. Known for her enrichment of fabrics, like hand-dyeing and digital prints, she blurs the lines of fine art and fashion. She also creates limited edition runs with vintage dead-stock fabrics and large quantities of remnants, which play an important part in her point of view on sustainability: taking something that would otherwise be wasted and turning it into something beautiful, coveted, and perhaps most importantly, indisposable. Since returning from Italy to her Southern roots in 2010, Megan has focused on designing collections that are deeply connected to a contemporary yet timeless sense of style.

TEXTILEHAUS founder Anastasiya Yatsuk grew up in Russia where she was allowed to shop for new clothes twice a year (Winter and Summer). Before she was allowed to buy something new her mother required her to make a sample of what she wanted to buy. Anastasiya came to appreciate the time and skill that is required to make each garment and learned to choose new items that would complement her existing wardrobe.
Each TEXTILEHAUS garment embodies the same qualities that Anastasiya learned to value growing up, including timeless style and superior workmanship.

TZULI HSU is a eponymous brand focusing on high-quality knitwear, founded in 2016 based in Taipei. Her woman loves colors and cares much about quality and details. She doesn’t follow trends, knows what she wants and explores her own styles. The style is chic and yet at the same time expressing personality, beyond restriction.
Designer and founder TzuLi Hsu is a womenswear and knitwear designer graduated from Parsons The New School for Design in BFA Fashion Design. Having lived in New York, London and Taipei, and been traveling to different countries, TzuLi embraces diverse cultures and experiences, which shape her visual sensibility on fashion. As a independent designer, her collections were exhibited in New York Saks Fifth Avenue, shown in Vancouver Fashion Week and featured in Vogue UK. At the end of 2016 she decided to launch her brand TZULI HSU, and soon received great feedbacks in Tokyo and Paris Fashion Week.
TZULI HSU is a brand which quality is the top priority. Under the exposure of mass production and low-quality goods, we believe people and the environment deserve and appreciate well made clothing with love and care. Senior women are at the heart of Wooln : we have created a cross-generation community of New-York based senior women, welcoming retirees back into the active workforce, and giving their craftsmanship the recognition it deserves. All WOOLN pieces are labeled with the knitter’s name and each grandmother has a biography on our website so customers can put a face to the hands who knit their piece.

Winsome Goods is a line of women’s clothing designed, sampled, and produced under one roof by a small team of people. Our mission is to create timeless and sustainable garments that do not adhere closely to a specific trend, fad, or seasonality. They are made to fit a range of body shapes and styles. Since all of our product is produced in our own studio, we are able to cut down on the wasted materials and resources in transportation. Even the fabrics we use are selected based on sustainability and ease of care. All of our materials are either natural or synthetics sourced only as recycled or deadstock. The pieces created are easy to care for and rarely dry clean only. We are part of the movement toward functional, versatile, and sustainable design while focusing on the producers.
